Bonjour & Bienvenue!
I'm Laurane, born and raised in France but currently based in Atlanta to pursue my master in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) at Georgia Tech.
People fascinate me. I love observing and interacting with them to understand their behaviors, motivations, and the problems they face in their lives, opportunities for better experiences.
My focus is therefore in user experience research, in gathering rich, actionable insights through a variety of methodologies and translating them into ideas and designs for successful products and services.
With an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and currently learning all things HCI at Georgia Tech, I am able to communicate easily with all members of a product team and contribute to all phases of the design process. I am also pursuing a certificate in Management of Technology to further my ability to understand the perspective of business stakeholders.
Work aside, I am a rowing addict, and have been for the past five years, so believe me when I say I love working in and with a team, especially multidisciplinary ones where there is so much to be learned from others.
I am an independent self-starter, not afraid of making bold choices, and always actively seeking challenges.
